How I used my journals in August
Ours Studio Journal
- I didn't until almost the last day. I pretty much only stuffed images into the pages and waited for a moment where i could sit down to journal. Did so on 2025-08-30
Magpie (Hobonichi Cousin)
- Catching up on July for the most part
Hobonichi Weeks (Media Journal)
- Mostly not in it except to ocassionally log. The daily media logging happened inside obsidian and then 2025-08-30 i did most of the August transfering of information.
Magpie (Take a Note) vs Ranger vs Traveler's Notebook vs Weeks
- Started the month in the TN but went back into the Take a Note
- Used a spread in the Weeks one of the weeks, loved how that felt
- Now in a Ranger
Ink Journal / System
- Went into an A5 from Personal Rings, designed some inserts → suddenly inpsired to go into an index system
- Index system troubleshooting, didnt work
- Moving back into Personal Rings but another cover
Functional System
- Hobonichi Weeks, itch for a TN but used a 2023 weeks (continued from July)
